Why shouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?
Great question! To begin with, the annual cost of a full-time senior/lead/principle designer now exceeds £90,000 plus benefits (and finding the right one is far from easy). Also, you’ll have another person to manage and you may not have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you’re stuck paying for time you aren’t able to utilize.
With a monthly plan, you can upgrade/downgrade, pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you’re only paying your designer when you have work requirements.
Is the number of requests limited for me?
No. Once subscribed, you add as many design requests to your queue as you’d like, and they will be delivered one by one.
How fast will my designs be done?
Most designs are delivered within 48 hrs during the working week. However, more complex requests can take longer.
Examples;
Scenario 1: A request picked up Monday morning will be delivered Wednesday morning, the same week.
Scenario 2: A request picked up Friday morning will be delivered the following Tuesday morning.
Who will be doing the design work?
You may be surprised to hear that DesignReady is an agile agency of one. This means you’ll work directly with me, founder of DesignReady with 24+ years of commercial design experience. However, bolt-on requests such as animations are provided by partner designers.
What happens if I pause my subscription?
We understand that our service may enable you to get ahead with design requirements – ultimately, this is the goal! That’s where pausing your subscription comes in handy.
Example, scenario:
Billing cycles are based on 31 day period. Say you sign up and use the service for 26 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. The billing cycle will be paused and you’ll have 5 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future.
What software do you design with?
Figma fulfils most requirements effectively.
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects will be used for vector, raster and video production if required.
How do I request my designs?
DesignReady offers flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. Common ways clients request designs is written directly into Trello, sharing Google/Word docs or wireframes, attaching photos/images, or even recording a short Loom video (for those who prefer to communicate verbally). Ultimately, if it can be attached to or shared in Trello, it’s all good.
What if I'm not happy with the design?
No problem! It’s often far easier to decide what works with a design in front of you. We’ll collect your feedback and continue to revise the design until you’re 100% satisfied.
Are there any design deliverables you don't cover?
Sure. DesignReady does not cover; 3D modeling, complex packaging, and extensive print design (books, magazines etc.).
What if I have a single request?
That’s fine, pause your subscription when finished and unpause when you have design requirements.
Can I get a refund if I don't like the service?
Due to the nature of this service and the high-quality work, there will be no refunds issued.
